Wax Digital has delivered a Europe-wide web-based collaboration system for collecting meter readings, incorporating automated billing calculation based on forecast system use. Core features of this project include:

• Data collection system by phone, e-mail and web for 90,000 customers with 180,000 machines
• Carrying 500,000 transactions for over £700m in billing per annum
• Automated forecasting/estimation based on Xerox mainframe algorithms
• Interface for over 100 system engineers to enter service credits
• Integrated notification system issuing up to 70,000 e-mail reminders per month
• CRM functionality (currently across 100,000 Xerox customer contacts) including self registration and self management of reading information
